Florina Flame-Roasted Red Pepper Houmous

Bored with bland BEIGE Houmous? Add a subtle sweet smokiness, and a bright bold oranginess by blending in one or two of our Fabulous Florina Flame Roasted Red Peppers.⁠⁠

🌶️⁠🔥 ❤️⁠ 🔥⁠🌶️⁠

Ready-roasted and peeled, they are sweet, succulent and ever so slightly smokey, and ready to use straight out of the jar.⁠⁠ Simply add while you blend all the ingredients together, super simple.

✔️ 1 can cooked chickpeas, drained and rinsed, or the same amount soaked and cooked

✔️ ⅓ cup tahini

✔️ 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice, more to taste

✔️ 1 garlic clove

✔️ 2 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil (ours are highly recommended!)⁠

✔️ Water, Salt & Pepper


Instructions:

Blend together the chickpeas, tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, and salt, adding water as needed to blend into a nice smooth consistency.

Dip generously with a wonderful warm pitta or a slice of sourdough, or try fresh sliced veg and crisp lettuce leaves for a less bready alternative.
